SUB-CHAPTER S TAX ELECTION

$70.00

The Sub-Chapter S Election allows the Members to avoid having their profits taxed twice because there are no business taxes with a Sub-Chapter S Tax Election. This type of Company also allows the owner to avoid the majority of his/her profits from being hit with a self-employment tax. Lastly, the Members of an S-Elected LLC are able to write off their losses on their personal taxes, even against separate income (money from other employment or a spouse's income on a joint return.) If you want your business to have these major tax advantages we will complete the Federal requirements and draft the LLC articles, Operating Agreement, resolutions and membership certificate(s) to reflect the company's status as an Sub Chapter S Tax Election. (Note, if you are wanting your new Sub S LLC to be fully owned by another existing Sub Chapter S entity you will instead need to proceed to our other menu option, Qualified Sub Chapter S Subsidiary).
